The logo I created for SungSam Korean Catholic Church draws inspiration from retro design while maintaining a sleek and minimalist aesthetic. I explored color palette pairings for the apparel and the logo itself to evoke warmth and familiarity. In addition, I balanced these elements with clean lines and modern simplicity to ensure a timeless, versatile logo. The final design reflects both the church’s heritage and its welcoming, contemporary spirit.
ANATOMY
The rim surrounding the logo symbolizes a sense of Catholic protection, representing God’s safeguarding presence over the community.
The 'SSKCC' is clear and direct with having the name itself being in the logo. The outline gives the overall design a retro look to reference history and an older trend.
